Buster Lewis, Owner and President
Buster has spent his whole life in the warehousing business. Starting as a floor sweeper at the age of twelve, he has performed every job in the warehouse: lumper, forklift driver, truck driver, and office worker. This gives him an insight into how all the pieces in the supply chain fit together. Buster joined Lewis Logistics full-time after graduating from the University of North Carolina in 1977. He became president after his father’s retirement in 1991. Under his leadership, the company has doubled in size, the customer base has become more diverse, and the organization and management team have been significantly strengthened. Buster is a certified fishing fool who never misses an opportunity to fish and spend time with his family.
